Joining or Creating a Party or Alliance Party, and configuring Settings

Player Characters may create or join already formed Parties together with other Player Characters. There are several ways to invite another Player Character to join a party such as right clicking on a Character Name of a Player Character that has been added to your Community Friends list from the Community UI or if they are nearby you may select the Player Character and click the exclamation point to the right of their Character Name from the Target UI for the Invite Party option.

You may also type out the command /in followed by a space and the Character Name (exact spelling.) When a Party is created the Party Master will be set to the first Player Character to invite another Player Character to the Party. Once the Party is created the Party Master may change a variety of settings available for Parties and may also Entrust another Player Character in the Party as the Party Master or with the ability to invite other Player Characters.

Item and Experience distribution settings can be configured by the Party Master and also Set Die options are available which allow a Party Master to determine which items can be distributed normally as set and which items will be distributed to the winner of a die rolling contest among the Party Members that choose to roll for a particular item. (Please be sure to check with the Party Master about any tacit rules or arrangements that may be established by the Party Master to prevent disputes over who should make a die roll on certain items and who should not. Ultimately the Party Master sets the actual rules for distribution.)
